Dear Mr President
Good morning, it is a beautiful morning and I was able to shower and am grateful for the water supply which has been restored to our community.

I have written to the Officer appointed by the Acting Judge President who is working on my son’s murder case to appeal once again for an indulgence and what I wrote I have recorded below. I am really hoping to have this matter settled.
“It seems to me that the case has been covered up again but that there is mounting pressure for criminal charges to be brought against top ANC officials.
More importantly it seems the top ANC officials have chosen a path of defiance rather than repentance and so the only remedy is justice rather than forgiveness.
Please advise the Judge President that as a result I plead for the indulgence as discussed previously.
I am working on rainwater harvest systems for multi unit dwellings and I believe that ontop of the current eThekwini water and sewerage crisis we are entering a season of drought with a higher prevalence of extreme weather events.
So time is of the essence for developing technology for communities to survive and I need those funds to get this done.
I would appreciate a meeting with you and him if possible.”
Related to the systems for dealing with the water crisis and believe there is a common thread.
Accountability.
Like the bridge on the N2 south. Is there a system in place that measures deviations in the gap spanning the piers and the platform so as to provide ample warning of any shifts or not? Without checks and balances, without proper accountability, sudden destruction comes without warning.
We are facing changing weather patterns and need to adapt. What are the anticipated outcomes of a severe water crisis in eThekwini? We don’t have time to waste on legal battles, pursuing solutions and finance from foreigners. We need to act.
Please help me to help you.
Have a good weekend.
Sincerely yours,
Andrew
