This morning I was up to greet the dawn..

much excitement on the south coast with the anticipated arrival of the sardines.. Baggies never fails to deliver beautiful dawnscapes..

back home, up the illovo beach hill to check out the sea..

The seagulls are the first clue.. then a patch of darkened water with the seagulls hovering and dive bombing, not as spectacular as the kingfishers, but close.

The first pods have arrived. Always good to see the first arrivals, like the winners of the Comrades marathon coming in.. heralding something much bigger on it’s way..
Thinking of the harvest.. so much preparation, so much anticipation, many tears, many hardships, many setbacks, but with persistence and dedication, the day arrives.. time to harvest. Joy, celebration, the cycles of life.
I believe in so many ways, the start of something wonderful. Not only for my neighbours, but also for our city and for our country..
Psalms 126:5-6 King James Version (KJV)They that sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
