Decree

Definition (sourced from Google): “A formal, authoritative and unchangeable command issued by a sovereign, - most notably God - determining that specific events or laws shall come to pass.

Genesis chapter 9 describes the original decree. Noah and his family, having been spared tragic desolation, God blesses and commands him and his sons to be fruitful and multiply and to fill the earth and then He issues His first decree in verse 4: “But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. Surely for your lifeblood I will DEMAND a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of every man. From the hand of every man’s brother I will require the life of man. “Whoever sheds man’s blood, By man his blood will be shed; for in the image of God He made man.”

There are some prfound truths here: 

1) The sanctity of life

2) God demands a reckoning for the taking of life

3) Those who take life will have theirs taken. This is most notable in the life of Paul The Apostle.

On April 15 I was advised by the Durban Magistrate’s Court that the Decree of Divorce had been issued and I went to collect it the same day. It was executed on April 10, five years and five months since the divorce proceedings began.

The criminality of the case, a conspiracy to conceal multiple crimes including murder, involving many people, various corporates and government officials as well as the Court was covered up again. 

Once again I brought the entire matter to my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Messiah. The Righteous Judge of the whole earth. I felt assured of three things:

First, Proverbs 14:34 declares that righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.

Second, that He said in His Word, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I WILL REPAY”

Third, that a heavenly decree has been issued and the unrepentant wicked will be removed from the face of the earth and forgotten forever. Malachi 3 & 4.

As Jesus replied to Satan, “IT IS WRITTEN.”

Those who choose to ignore the written Word of God do so at their own peril.

The decree marks the end, not of a chapter but a book. And a new day has begun. As Autumn arrived, a new season of beauty, colour , crisp and fresh. And I find myself on the South Peninsula enjoying the beauty, making new friends and looking forward to at last succeeding in my life’s mission – using waste to produce power, recycle water and facilitate a way for families and communities to go off grid completely, recycle waste and be productive in terms of fresh greens, salad ingredients etc. The Institute for Sustainable Living has been launched. A new season, preparing for the restoration of the nation to righteousness.
